MRG Live
Relaunched Kevin Smith's Mooby Popup Merch for Toronto activation
Background
Our team was tasked with redesigning the ecommerce website for Kevin Smith's Mooby Popup in Toronto in partnership with MRG Live. The site was built on Square and needed a complete overhaul to improve user experience and increase sales.
Problem
The original website lacked clear navigation, making it difficult for users to find what they were looking for. Additionally, the product offerings were limited and outdated, resulting in low sales numbers. Our team needed to create a new design that would make it easy for users to browse and purchase products while also updating the inventory with fresh merchandise.
Solution
We began by conducting research on Mooby's target audience and analyzing their purchasing behavior. Using this information, we created a new design that featured clear navigation and highlighted the most popular products. We also sourced new glassware, clothing, and posters to update the inventory and provide customers with more options.
To further improve user experience, we implemented a streamlined checkout process that made it easy for customers to complete their purchases. We also integrated social media sharing buttons to encourage customers to share their purchases with friends.
Impact
Increased website traffic by 530% compared to previous pop up event
Increased sales by 145%
Improved customer satisfaction ratings
Increase in social media engagement
